Privacy Policy
1. Controller
Oliver Kloecker, Villa Louisa, Wilhelmstraße 32, 18586 Sellin, Email: olivierkloecker@gmail.com
2. What data we process
- Account data: name, email, password (encrypted) upon registration.
- Order data: billing details, purchase history, license keys.
- Payment data: payment is processed via PayPal; we do not receive complete payment-method data.
- License/activation data: device identifier (hash), hostname, operating system for license binding.
- Server logs: IP address, timestamp, technical data for service delivery and security.
3. Reach measurement (visitor statistics)
For the statistical evaluation of usage (e. g. number of page views and visitors) we use a data-minimizing, self-hosted reach measurement. In doing so, no cookies are used and no IP addresses are stored. From the IP address, browser identifier and date, a daily changing, non-reversible pseudonymous value (hash) is generated, which solely enables the counting of recurring visits within the same day and does not permit any conclusions about your person. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a high-reach and needs-based design of our offering (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Newsletter (double opt-in)
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address as well as the time and IP address of the sign-up and confirmation. Subscription uses the double opt-in procedure: after you enter your address we send you a confirmation email, and only after you click the link it contains is your address added to the distribution list. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email or by messaging olivierkloecker@gmail.com; your data is then deleted from the distribution list. Logging of sign-ups and unsubscriptions serves as proof of the consent given.
5. Purposes and legal bases
Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) for account, purchase and licensing; legitimate interest (lit. f) for security and abuse prevention; legal obligations (lit. c) for tax-related retention.
6. Disclosure to third parties
PayPal (payment processing), hosting provider. Disclosure only takes place insofar as necessary for the stated purposes.
7. Storage period
Data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purposes and no statutory retention periods conflict.
8. Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact: olivierkloecker@gmail.com
